SHANGHAI, September 28 (Itar-Tass) -- Russia's President Dmitry
Medvedev is satisfied with his visit to China.
"I am satisfied fully with the results of the visit," he told
reporters on the third day of the visit.
He called the trip a flash visit, as over three days he managed to be
in three cities.
"Three cities - three histories, and each of them has its value," he
said. "Everything is very interesting."
The visit to Dalian was devoted to the history of bilateral relations,
the visit to Beijing - to the present, and the visit to Shanghai - to
their future, Medvedev said.
He spoke about the "friendly atmosphere" at the negotiations with
China's leader on Monday and called the signed documents a "breakthrough."
"We take relations with China as strategic ones, which will develop in
future," Medvedev said.
Shanghai is a symbol of future, where the future itself is the future
of children.
"Russia's pavilion /at the EXPO-2010 exhibition/ is a symbol of future
trends, where sophisticated technologies are explained in a language a
child may understand," he said.
Medvedev highlighted the fact that about every tenth visitor of the
exhibition had come to see Russia's exposition.
