China-Russia relations experience best period - Xi Jinping.

SHANGHAI, September 28 (Itar-Tass) - Chinese-Russian relations are
experiencing the best period in their history, Vice President Xi Jinping
said opening the Day of Russia at World Expo 2010 Shanghai on Tuesday.
"China and Russia have been good neighbours for 61 years since the
establishment of diplomatic relations. Beginning from 1996 the
Chinese-Russian relations of strategic partnership have registered
unprecedented development demonstrating continuous strengthening of
political trust, stable development of economic cooperation and regular
deepening of mutual understanding on the international scene," he said.
"Active contacts of the two countries' leaders unveil wider prospects
for future development for our countries," Xi Jinping said.
