Iranian, Georgian FMs ask for broadening relations
Minister of foreign affairs of Islamic Republic of Iran and Republic of Georgian here Monday sought ways for boosting bilateral, regional and international cooperation.
According to the IRNA correspondent at UN, Grigol Vashadze during the meeting on the sidelines of the 65th UN General Assembly invited his Iranian counterpart Manouchehr Mottaki to visit Tbilisi.
During the visit the two countries’ joint economic commission would be convened as scheduled, and an agreement would be signed for lifting the visa requirement between the two countries.
In the agenda of the joint commission there is also the establishment of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Head Consular Office at Georgia’s Batamo City.
