RF-China strategic relations important for int'l development - pres.

BEIJING, September 27 (Itar-Tass) - Strategic relations between Russia
and China play an important role in international development, Russian
President Dmitry Medvedev said at the meeting with Chinese Prime Minister
Wen Jiabao on Monday.
"Our relations of strategic partnership become one of the factors of
international development," he said.
The two countries' partnership "has already reached such a level, when
we resolve most different issues and fulfil the tasks that we set in
economy and foreign policy," Medvedev said.
Wen Jiabao said in turn the current visit of the Russian president "is
timed to coincide with a very important moment of strong changes in the
global political and economic architecture."
"During the talks with Hu Jintao you set new tasks for further
development of Russian-Chinese strategic interaction, therefore your visit
is of great importance for relations between our countries," the Chinese
prime minister said.
He underlined that "China and Russia consider each other the priority
areas of foreign policy."
"We can justly say that our friendship is strong and can stand any
tests. Most issues (in the two countries' relations) have already been
resolved and at present our task is in a proper manner implement
agreements reached by the two countries' presidents and thus we should
take the Russian-Chinese relations to a higher level," Wen Jiabao said.
