RF-China talks help sign 10 documents on coop - Medvedev.
.
27/9 Tass 204
BEIJING, September 27 (Itar-Tass) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev
said the Russian-Chinese talks facilitated the signing of 10 documents on
cooperation in different fields.
The Russian president met NPC Standing Committee Chairman Wu Bangguo
on Monday.
"I saw a great number of businessmen in your delegation. I'm sure that
your visit will give an impetus to the development of our relations and
bring our strategic relations to a higher level," Wu said after the
meeting.
Medvedev said, "I shares your opinion on the development of relations
between our countries. I only disagree that this is not my briefest visit
to China - it lasts for three days and this gives us an opportunity to
visit several Chinese provinces. Yesterday I was in Dalian. Today I'm in
Beijing and tomorrow I'll go to Shanghai for the EXPO exhibition."
The Russian president commented on Wu Bangguo's wording that Medvedev'
s brief visit to China would facilitate further strengthening of relations
between the two countries.
