Russia, China sign several documents on cooperation.

BEIJING, September 27 (Itar-Tass) - Russia and China have signed
several documents on cooperation in the energy sector.
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Chinese Chairman Hu Jintao
signed statements on the 65th anniversary of the end of World War II and
on the strengthening of partnership and strategic interaction.
The documents, which have been concluded, include a protocol on making
amendments to the agreement between Russian and Chinese governments on oil
cooperation of April 21, 2009 and a protocol to the memorandum on
understanding on coal cooperation; and an agreement on cooperation in the
fight against terrorism, separatism and extremism.
In the energy sector the parties signed several documents: a
memorandum on understanding between the Russian Energy Ministry and China'
s National Development and Reform Commission in the field of energy
efficiency and use of renewable energy sources; a memorandum on
understanding between the Russian Energy Ministry and China's State Energy
Grid on cooperation in the development of power supply; and a roadmap on
cooperation in the coal-mining industry.
Among key agreements are a document between Russia's State Atomic
Corporation, Rosatom, and China's Nuclear Energy Industry Corporation on
strategic cooperation in the field of use of nuclear energy for peaceful
purposes.
