BEIJING, September 27 (Itar-Tass) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei
Lavrov expects Russia and China to conclude new agreements in the
military-technical sphere in the short run. "There are no problems in the
military-technical cooperation sphere, there are very serious promising
projects. I am certain that in the near future their results will be
known," the minister told reporters.
Lavrov added that the "plans are rather big," and the
military-technical sphere "is one of priorities" in the bilateral
cooperation.
Head of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Mikhail
Dmitriyev also assured journalists that "there are no problems in RF-China
cooperation, all is normal."
According to him, this issue was not discussed at Monday's talks
between the two countries' leaders Dmitry Medvedev and Hu Jintao.
Dmitriyev added that the Chinese side on Monday "did not express the
intention to buy the Su-34 fighters."
