Wildfire breaks out in Sikhote-Alin nature reserve in Primorye.

VLADIVOSTOK, September 27 (Itar-Tass) -- The first wildfire for the
last three months was reported in the Primorsky Territory on Monday. The
wildfire was spotted in the Sikhote-Alin nature reserve in the
northernmost part of the Primorsky Territory. The forest fire has spread
on 20 hectares, the press service of the main EMERCOM department in the
Primorsky Territory told Itar-Tass.
The Sikhote-Alin nature reserve spreads on 390,000 hectares. The
nature reserve is remarkable for its wild natural landscapes of the Ussuri
taiga and the purest breeding rivers, and the Amur tiger is feeling
absolutely safe there. About 50 species of these rare predators live in
the nature reserve.

.URGENT-RF not negotiate construction of new nuclear plants in Iran.

BEIJING, September 27 (Itar-Tass) -- Russia does not negotiate with
Iran the construction of new nuclear power plants, except for the Bushehr
nuclear power plant, Rosatom chief Sergei Kiriyenko told Itar-Tass on
Monday. Kiriyenko is accompanying Russian President Dmitry Medvedev during
his official visit to China.
"We are finalizing the construction of the first power unit (Bushehr),
next power units are not on the agenda of negotiations," Kiriyenko said
without going into any details.

.RF plans to sign 1st contract to build n-plant in China by yearend.

BEIJING, September 27 (Itar-Tass) -- Russia is planning to sign an
intergovernmental agreement and a first contract to build a nuclear power
plant in China with two fast reactors BN-800 by the yearend, Rosatom chief
Sergei Kiriyenko told reporters on Monday. He is accompanying Russian
President Dmitry Medvedev during an official visit to China.
Kiriyenko recalled that Russia and China have reached preliminary
agreements on fast reactors BN-800. "We are planning to make the next step
by the yearend - to sign or at least initial an intergovernmental
agreement and a first contract to build a nuclear power plant with fast
reactors," the Rosatom chief noted.
He refrained from specifying the cost and the deadline for
construction works, but stated that "it will certainly be a new
construction site, rather than the Tianwan nuclear power plant, China has
not decided on a construction site yet."
