Iran minister departs for Moscow for int'l education meet
Moscow, Sept 27, IRNA – Iran's Minister of Education Hamid-Reza Haji-Babaei departed Tehran for Moscow early Monday to attend the First World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education.
Haji-Babaei is due to outline Iran's attitudes and programs on the issue during the three-day event which will start today. He will also preside over one of the five main commissions of the gathering.
Officials and representatives from more than one hundred world countries together with representatives of a number of international organizations will exchange experiences and elaborate on ways of accelerating access to early childhood care and education.
The gathering is organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)./end
