195 Iranian MPs hail president’s statements in UN
TEHRAN, Sept. 27 (MNA) -- In a statement issued on Sunday, 195 lawmakers have commended President Ahmadinejad’s statements in the UN General Assembly in New York.
The members of the parliament regard the president’s successes in the United Nations a result of his adherence to the guidelines of Imam Khomeini and the Supreme Leader, the statement reads.
The Iranian nation as well as the Muslim world is proud of the president’s active presence in the annual UN General Assembly meeting, it added.
