President Medvedev arrives in China.

DALIAN, September 26 (Itar-Tass) -- Russian President Dmitry Medvedev
has arrived in China. The Russian president will begin his official
three-day trip with a visit to Dalian and the district of Lushun (the
former Port Arthur) in North Eastern China.
Presidential aide Sergei Prikhodko said that the Russian president
would lay a wreath to a Memorial to Soviet soldiers who died for the
liberation of North-Eastern China from Japanese occupiers. Medvedev will
also visit a cemetery of Russian soldiers and officers who died in wars,
including the Russian-Japanese war of 1904-1905. It took several years to
restore the memorial.
The Russian president will meet a group of Russian and Chinese war
veterans.
In Dalian, Medvedev will meet the leadership of Liaoning province.
This trip will become Medvedev's second official visit. His first
visit to China was in May 2008.
