SOCAR PRESIDENT MEETS STATOILHYDRO AZERBAIJAN`S MANAGEMENT
Baku, September 25 (AzerTAc). President of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev has met management of the StatoilHydro Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the Company`s Country Manager in Azerbaijan Kristian Hausken said he was nearing the end of his tenure. Hausken said he had spared no efforts during his term of office to contribute to developing “comprehensive and reliable partnership relations between StatoilHydro and SOCAR”.
He also praised the progress made in Azerbaijan`s economy, particularly oil and gas industry.
Rovnag Abdullayev, in turn, underlined the role of Hausken in “fruitful cooperation between StatoilHydro and SOCAR on both Azeri-Cirag-Guneshli and Shahdeniz projects”.
He expressed assurance that bilateral cooperation between the two companies would continue to boost.
During the meeting, Hausken presented his successor, Lars Sorensen to Rovnag Abdullayev. Sorensen vowed that the cooperation between StatoilHydro and SOCAR would further deepen during his tenure.
