1st Asian polyglot center established in Iran

Tehran, Sept 25, IRNA -- The first polyglot center in Asia has been set up in Iran by an Iranian genius youth, Ali Pirhani.
Talking to IRNA, he said that the center will seek to nurture talented Iranian youth, conduct researches on multilingualism, set up a databank of polyglots and impart remote education.
The center will also bring together the polyglots to exchange view and undertake joint research works, he said.
Pirhani, who is 25 years old, has a good command of 19 languages, added that the management of time and planning and taking notes are the main factors behind his success in language learning.
He further noted that he started language learning when he was just five years old.
He was born in Hamedan and first learned French, he said.
He is now proficient in 19 languages such as English, French, Germany, Spanish, Italian, Indian, Romanian, Sweden, Arabic, Turkick, Esperanto, Finnish, Greek, Russian and Hebrew languages.
Following Jack Richards, who knows 23 languages, I am the second polyglot in the world, he said.
I translated 'Nahj ul-Balageh', a book featuring Imam Ali's (AS) sermons, letters and sayings into English, Germany and French when i was 14 years old,' he said.
There are only two polyglot centers in the world, one in Russia and the other in US, he noted./end
