SPEAKER WORKS IN KHOVD

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Parliament Speaker D.Demberel worked September 18-21 in Khovd aimag, the constituency where he was elected the MP in 2008.
The Speaker and accompanying him officials worked September 18 in the aimag's Jargalant soum, attended a ceremony of laying the foundation stone of a 85,3 km road to run between Khovd city and Mankhan soum. At the ceremony, the province's governor G.Nyamdavaa said the new road will be constructed again reaching 743 km to the "Yarant" border checkpoint, and pointed out that the Speaker's effort significantly contributed to starting the construction.
The road running is expected to launch from October this year and to finish September of 2012. The money for the work are sponsored from the governments of Mongolia and the People's Republic of China.
Apart of the parliamentary delegation, present at the ceremony were D.Enkhzul, a State Honored Actress, and O.Uyanga, a Foremost Cultural Worker.
