"JUDO FOR PEACE" INT'L MEETING TO RUN NEXT YEAR HERE
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A director of the IJF Judo for Peace Commission, Jan Eirik Schiotz, and a deputy director of the IJF Judo for Peace, vice president of Mongolia's Judo Association B.Pagma have met with Richard Clarke, a human rights Officer of the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), and Dr. Eddy Engelsman, officer of the WHO, in Geneva.
At the meeting that took place September Schiotz and Pagma spoke abiut activities and program of the Peace commission and shared views on bilateral cooperation. The Peace commission is working to develop peaceful and truthful community in consolidating with sports and education system, and has implemented an action upwardly to the Millennium Development Goals.
The administration of the IJF Judo for Peace have announced that they are to organize the international meeting themed "Judo for Peace" under the auspices of Mongolia's President in Ulaanbaatar in 2011 in order to discuss matters as human rights, environment, hygiene and nutrition.
In response, the officers of the International organizations thanked for determining the agenda and said that the United Nations OHCHR is ready to work together. "We will seek an opportunity to attract the WHO to the cooperation with the IJF Judo for Peace," they added.
