DEPUTY PREMIER MEETS DANIEL PONEMAN
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Deputy Premier of Mongolia M.Enkhbold received Wednesday Mr. Daniel B.Poneman, the U.S Deputy Secretary of Energy.
Mr. Enkhbold emphasized an importance of the Mongolia-USA inter-governmental memorandum on cooperation in exploitation of nuclear energy for peace, and expressed a confidence that the visit of Mr. Poneman will significantly contribute to forwarding the bilateral cooperation.
Mentioning that Mongolia needs to prepare specialized staffers and to improve skills and professions of experienced specialists on nuclear sciences, Enkhbold asked Mr. Poneman to pay an attention to training the Mongolian professionals and preparing specialists in the USA.
In response, Mr. Poneman underlined an importance of the memorandum that reflects wide-range matters, and pointed out that the sides should realize this memorandum. He said the Deputy Premier's suggestions for training Mongolian nuclear energy professionals in the USA will be taken into consideration.
