AZERBAIJAN, BULGARIA SIGN MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION

Baku, September 23 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s State Committee on Property Issues and Bulgarian Privatization and Post-Privatization Control Agency have signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The Memorandum was inked by chairman of the Committee on Property Issues Karam Hasanov and director of Bulgarian Privatization and Post-Privatization Control Agency Emil Karanikolov.
Speaking to the signing ceremony, Hasanov praised the Azerbaijan-Bulgaria relations, He said the bilateral ties were particularly rapidly developing in the political and economic fields.
He highlighted Azerbaijan`s socio-economic achievements.
“Launched by national leader Heydar Aliyev, this course is being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.”
Hasanov said the State Committee for Property Issues attaches a particular importance to international cooperation.
Karanikolov, in turn, hailed Azerbaijan`s economic successes.
He highlighted ongoing economic reforms and privatization processes in Bulgaria.
Prior to the signing ceremony, the Bulgarian delegation visited the Alley of Honors to put flowers at the tombs of national leader Heydar Aliyev and eminent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
They also paid tribute to Azerbaijani martyrs who died for the country`s independence and territorial integrity.
