BAKU HOSTS 16th AZERBAIJAN INTERNATIONAL HEALTHCARE EXHIBITION
Baku, September 22 (AzerTAc). The 16th Azerbaijan International Healthcare Exhibition (BIHE) has kicked off at the BakuExpo Center.
The exhibition is co-organized by Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Health, Stomatological Association, Chamber of Commerce and Industry and National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers`) Organizations.
Speaking to the opening ceremony, Azerbaijan`s Deputy Minister of Health Elsavar Aghayev said: “The number of participating countries in the exhibition is increasing yearly”.
“This year`s event brings together more than 105 companies from 19 countries”.
He also briefed the attendees on ongoing health reforms in the country, including reconstruction of medical facilities during last few years.
Turkish Minister of State Faruk Nafız Ozak said: “Baku has become the center for important international events.”
Director of Iteca Caspian Farid Mammadov said the attending companies showcase new medical and laboratory equipment, software, medical furniture, sterilizing equipment, orthopedic equipment and disinfection facilities. Advanced medical technology products including biohealth, nuclear medicine and nanotechnology in medicine are also on display for the first time.
Along with International Health Exhibition, the 5th Azerbaijan International Stomatology Exhibition and the 4th Azerbaijan International Beauty and Aesthetics Medical Exhibition have also been launched.
