D.BAYARKHUU ELECTED DEPUTY HEAD OF AMBASSADORS' GROUP

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Egypt D.Bayarkhuu was elected as a deputy head of the Group of Ambassadors to the Arab Republic of Egypt for Asian region in accordance with a decision made by the Group's monthly meeting held September 21.
Ambassadors of some 130 foreign countries accredited to Egypt have founded a group which consists of regions. The Asian region with 20 countries is divided into sections as East Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Southwest Asia, Central Asia and Pacific.
The meeting of Asian region runs every month, and information about bilateral relations and cooperation with Egypt is exchanged. Chaired by Mr. Rene Wilson (New Zealand), a Doyen of the diplomatic corps in Egypt and leader of the Asian region, this month's meeting has given reports on works done in August.
