Iran supports all peace-seeking nations: President

New York, Sept 22, IRNA – Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Tuesday evening that the Iranian nation supports all the world peace-seeking and justice-loving nations.
The President, who is currently in the US to attend the annual session of the UN General Assembly this week, made the remarks while addressing the US peace-seeking and anti-war groups.
Condemning the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan by foreign forces, he regretted that over one million people were killed and millions of others were displaced as a result of the occupation of the two countries.
The President stressed that while millions of Pakistani people were displaced by the recent flood in that country, the US fighters bombed a Pakistani city on the pretext of the presence of a terrorist in that city.
All such problems are resulted from the fact that the global management is not based on justice and peace, he said, reiterating that administration of justice is the only possible way to establish sustainable peace and stability throughout the globe./end
