Iran's President: Common management needed globally

New York, Sept 22, IRNA -- President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here on Tuesday that the world should be run through collective management.

Addressing the US students and academics through videoconference, President Ahmadinejad said, 'The world can not be ruled through unilateralism and one should move towards the sort of management in which all nations can have an active role.'

He noted that a number of people call themselves the world managers, rulers and owners of the world.

He said this group of people reserve themselves especial and superior to other nations and do not respect rights of others, waging war and occupation under many pretexts.

'Those considering themselves the owners of the world lack any legitimacy and popularity. Gone is the era of ruling the world through unilateralism and monopoly.

That a few governments and countries reserve themselves more rights and ban others from management globally, is not accepted.'/end
