Education minister emphasizes educational reform in Arab world

DOHA, Sep. 21 (Saba)-
Minister of Education Abdul-Salam al-Jawfi affirmed on Tuesday the importance of
School
Institution to be changed into an institution capable of performing its role through
training teachers and make all material abilities accessible in order to improve the
educational system as it is the real reform for education in the Arab world.
This was indicated in his speech in the special ministerial round on education
quality in the Arab world which is currently being held in the Qatari capital of
Doha with
the participation of 12 Arab countries, the World Bank and the Arab League
Educational, Cultural and scientific Organization (ALECSO) for two days.
Talking about education quality refers to providing 6 per cent of the gross
domestic product of the Arab countries to improve the educational process as proved
by results
of the international tests, the minister added.
