Yemen, Korea sign WTO agreement

GENEVA, Sep. 21 (Saba)- Yemen and Korea have signed
a bilateral agreement for Yemen to join the World Trade Organization (WTO).
The agreement was signed by both countries ambassadors to UN with the attendance of
Minister of Industry and Trade Yahya al-Mutawakil and Minister of Legal Affairs
Rashad
al-Rasas.
It includes costumes tariff ceilings for the items of good which were agreed upon
by Yemen and Korea.
This agreement is considered the 5th of its kind for Yemen following the signing of
similar agreements with the EU, China, Canada and Australia, in addition to
initializing
another one with the USA.
