YEKATERINBURG, September 21 (Itar-Tass) -- The Vladivostok Avia air
carrier will launch charter flights between the Russia city of
Yekaterinburg and Vietnam's Hanoi from November 14, 2010, Dmitry Lyubin,
the chairman of the board of directors of Transport Technologies Co
(Vladivostok Avia's representative in the Urals region), told Itar-Tass on
Tuesday.
"Vladivostok Avia's TU-204-300 airplanes will make non-stop flights to
the Vietnamese capital and back to the Urals every two weeks," Lyubin said.
The flight from Yekaterinburg to Hanoi will take nine hours.
Earlier in the day, Vietnam's Consulate General was officially opened
in Yekaterinburg. The ceremony was attended by Vietnamese Deputy Foreign
Minister Nguyen Thanh Son, Vietnamese ambassador to Russia Bui Dinh Dinh,
and Vietnamese consul general in Yekaterinburg Le Quy Quynh. This is the
first time such a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation visits Russia's
Sverdlovsk region.
