Shamlan meets EU mission and MAM International official
SANA'A, July 30 (Saba)- Minister of Fisheries wealth Mohammed Shamlan held a meeting on Monday with the mission ofEuropean Commission headed by a responsible of economic and tenders at the commission to Yemen.
In the meeting , they discussed aspects of the European support for the fisheriessector within fifth fish project and project of information network in the ministry.
Shamlan confirmed concern of the ministry to pace process of importing equipment of the network as well as tools of quality laboratories in Hodeidah, Aden and Mukalla.There are many local and international companies presented their efforts to enter tender ofimporting these equipment, director of the fish project Amr Sobih said.
The project of the network will be funded by the European Commission at € 350,000.On the other hand, Shamlan held a meeting with the chairman of MAM international corporation Mohammed al-Kharbash over measures of starting implementation of the memo of understanding that was signed between the two sides to set up fish growing projects at cost of one billion dollar.AH
