ULAANBAATAR BECOMES FRIENDLY CITY
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Ulaanbaatar city has been selected as one of the friendly and cooperative city with the China. For the prize the UB city was nominated by the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Huh hot City during the International Friendship Cities Cooperation Forum in Shanghai which took place September 7-10.
First time the forum was co-organized by China International Friendship Cities Association (CIFCA) and Chinese People's Association for foreign relation in Beijing in 2008.
The second forum attracted 700 representatives of 50 countries. The 39th President of the USA Jimmy Carter addressed the gathered.
Nowadays China has is cooperating with 1,723 cities of 126 world countries since Tianjin city of China established such ties with Kobe of Japan in 1973.
