ATHLETES AWARDED
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The young winners of several international competitions such as Youth Olympic Games (YOG), FILA World Championship and the Judo World Championship, have been received by D.Zagdsuren and others from Mongolia's National Olympic Committee (MonNOC). Present at the audience September 21 were also D.Arvin MP and People's Doctor J.Khatanbaatar.
The supreme prize of the MonNOC--the Golden Star Order--has been bestowed upon S.Battsetseg, a gold medalist of the FILA World Championship and her coach Z.Duvchin. The champions of the YOG B.Battsetseg (wrestling) and G.Erdenebold (gymnastics), A.Tsedensodnom, a coach of the national team for free-style wrestling have been awarded with the Order of Golden Ochir.
The Olympic Glory medal has been given to Ts.Altantogs, a coach of the gymnastics national team, B.Monkhbayar, a wrestling coach, O.Dolgoon, a silver medalist of the YOG, his teacher D.Enkhbaatar, and to N.Batnyam, a free-style wrestling coach.
A State Honored Sportsman Kh.Tsagaanbaatar; and international master of sports M.Bundmaa, who have won bronze medals of the Judo World Championship, have received memorial medals.
During this ceremony, a head of the "Sports and Women" commission D.Arvin MP gave prizes to B.Battsetseg, S.Battsetseg, M.Bundmaa, Z.Duvchin and to Ch.Nasantogtokh, a general coach of the judo national team.
Mr. Zagdsuren appreciated activity of Mongolia's Gymnastics Federation and promised to sponsor gymnastic athletes in taking part in the Asian Games of 2010.
