MEDIA DELEGATION VISITS INNER MONGOLIA

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A forum of media of Mongolia and China ran September 19 in Hohhot city, Chinese Inner Mongolia. The forum brought together 40 journalists and media staffers of Mongolia's MONTSAME news agency, the National Public Radio and Television, and China's Xinhua agency and the International Committee for Radio and Television of China.
Ther gathered discussed issues of the Mongolia-China traditional friendly relations, changing information about the ties in all spheres, and of forwarding the bilateral ties in media.
The same day, a delegation led by the Director-General of MONTSAME news agency, vice-president of Mongolia's United Confederation of Journalists (MUCJ) Mr. T.Baasansuren was received by Ren Yaping, an Executive Vice Chairman of People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
Ren Yaping expressed his satisfaction with the visit of Mongolia's media delegation and introduced them to socio-economic development of Inner Mongolia. “Our countries are connected in terms of geographical location, we have historical traditions of the brotherhood friendly relations,” Ren Yaping said adding that the media collaboration between the countries also have good traditions.
In response, Mr. Baasansuren expressed a gratitude to the authority of Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region for a warn welcome and congratulated the Inner Mongolian side for successfully organizing the media forum.
“Here I see a great construction and developmental achievements in all spheres,” said Mr. Baasansuren.
The delegation of Mongolia has visited editorial staffs of the “Daily Newspaper of Inner Mongolia” and the “Education of Inner Mongolia” newspaper.
