HEADS OF KAZAKH AND TURKISH PARLIAMENT ADMINISTRATIONS VISIT MILLI MAJLIS OF AZERBAIJAN
Baku, September 20 (AzerTAc). Visiting heads of administrations of Turkish and Kazakh parliaments visited the Milli Majlis on Tuesday.
After touring the building, they met with head of the administration of Milli Majlis Safa Mirzayev. Mirzayev pointed out Azerbaijan expands cooperation with Turkish-speaking countries both on a bilateral basis and within the TurkPA. He recalled Azerbaijan parliamentary delegation`s visiting the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), adding the delegation of the Turkish parliament is going to travel to Baku shortly.
According to Mirzayev, the meeting of heads of parliamentary administrations contribute to expansion of bilateral interparliamentary ties.
TBMM administration`s secretary general Sadettin Kalkan expressed satisfaction with visiting Azerbaijan, built by one of the great leaders of the Turkish world Heydar Aliyev.
Kalkan noted the set up of the TurkPA laid a foundation of the whole Turkic world.
Deputy head of the Kazakh senate administration Berik Aryn underlined TurkPA would contribute to development of relations between all Turkish-speaking countries.
The discussions also revolved around development of interparliamentary ties, run-up to the March TurkPA summit in Kazakhstan.
Present at the meeting were TurkPA secretary General Ramil Hasanov and his Turkish and Kazakh deputies.
