Russia`s Lavrov to address UN summit on dvlpmnt goals.

UNITED NATION, September 21 (Itar-Tass) - Russian Foreign Minister
Sergei Lavrov is expected to address the UN-sponsored summit on the
Millennium Development Goals.
Members of the Russian delegation told Itar-Tass that Lavrov will also
take part in a meeting of the Middle East Quartet of Negotiators /Russia,
the U.S., the UN, and the European Union/ that mediates talks on the
Israeli-Arab peace settlement.
Upon the end of the meeting, Lavrov will join other Quartet
negotiating officials at a news conference that will start at 16:00 hours
Eastern Daylight Saving Time /20:00 hours GMT/.
In addition, the Russian minister is due to have talks with UN
Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and China's Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi and
to take part in a conference of foreign ministers of Bric countries -
Brazil, Russia, India, and China.
