MCA TO RUN TRAINING

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Property rights project of the Mongolian Millennium Challenge Account will organize a training for journalists.
An introduction to the project will be given by D.Odonchimeg, a director of the project. Lessons on policy of land innovation, ways of verifying the land rights, a system of registration organization, and legal environment is to be taught by Doctor G.Gantulga. Themes of other lessons will be cadastre and mapping, land-related taxes and discounts.
The gathered will visit a family in a ger area, where a unit of the property rights project is implementin a project, to witness advantages of owing a land.
For this project, USD 17.2 million has been issued from the UDS 285 million that are given to Mongolia as a non-refundable aid from Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) of the USA.
The project is supposed to improve a legal environment for providing reliable conditions of registration and for clearing obstacles in registering the lands privatized.
