Iran proposals on Iraq, constructive - Bahraini official

Manama, Sept 20, IRNA – Bahraini Deputy Interior Minister Tariq Mubarak bin Dinah said here on Monday that Iran's proposals regarding establishment of peace in Iraq are constructive.

Major General bin Dinah, who is also Chief of Public Security, told IRNA that the Islamic Republic of Iran and other countries, attending the summit meeting on Iraq, submitted their peace proposals for Iraq.

The two-day 7th preliminary session of ministerial meeting on Iraq started work in Manama, Bahrain, on Sunday.

The meeting is attended by deputy interior ministers from Iraq and its neighboring states including the Islamic Republic of Iran, Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt, Turkey and Bahrain.

Iran's Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar will fly to Bahrain this week to attend the ministerial meeting./end
