PREMIER MEETS CANADIAN AMBASSADOR

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister S.Batbold received Friday Mr. Gregory Goldhawk, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to Mongolia.
Beginning the meeting, the Premier underlined that the two countries share many similarities such as geographical location, size of areas, climate, and added that Mongolians consider Canada as a model country for development which means that Mongolia has big opportunities to study developmental experiences of Canada and to boost the bilateral cooperation.
The Premier mentioned about his official visit to Canada late this month and congratulated Mr. Goldhawk for becoming the Ambassador to Mongolia. He expressed a confidence that the new Ambassador will significantly contribute to the Mongolia-Canada relations and cooperation.
In turn, Mr. Goldhawk noted that Canada wants Mongolia to be its partner in Asia. "Mongolia has many opportunities for the development," Mr. Goldhawk stressed and added he is ready to share his country's developmental experiences.
