Initial session of meeting on Iraq starts in Bahrain
Manama, Sept 19, IRNA – The 7th preliminary session prior to the regional meeting on Iraq started work in Manama, Bahrain, attended by deputies interior ministers of the neighboring states.
Bahraini Deputy Interior Minister Major General Tariq Mubarak bin Dinah who is Chief of the Public Security delivered a speech at the two-day preliminary meeting's opening ceremony.
Iran's Deputy Interior Minister for Security Affairs Ali Abdollahi heads the Iranian delegation to Bahrain.
The Islamic Republic of Iran, Syria, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kuwait, Egypt and Bahrain are Iraq's neighboring states which have sent their deputy interior ministers to the Manama meeting./end
