PRESIDENT WORKS IN AGRICULTURAL SITES NEAR CITY
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The President Ts.Elbegdorj visited Thursday agricultural sites and met with people who deal with farming and vegetables growing.
The President got acquainted with Sea buckthorn garden of the "Polivit" company. Then, in Songinokhairkhan district he visited the 21st khoroo (smallest administrative unit in city)--a former "Partizan" farm. Its residents said although their khoroo belongs to the capital city--70 km far from it--but it still does not have communication and that it exports an electricity from Tov aimag. A request was sounded to connect the khoroo with Tov aimag because a wrongly organized territorial division ignites conflicts between the khoroo's people and Tov aimag's inhabitants.
After this, Mr. Elbegdorj worked in Tov aimag's Bayanchandmani soum to get au fait with the "Mongol tarimal" farm and a cooperative. The "Mongol tarimal" farm has some 300 milk cows and supplies milk to dairy plants in Ulaanbaatar.
Members of the cooperative told the President that their group unites relatives and friends for vegetables growing business.
