TS.SHARAVDORJ MEETS SRI SRI RAVI SHANKAR

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Secretary-General of parliamentary office Ts.Sharavdorj met Thursday Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, a leader and founder of the "Art of Living" humanitarian organization.
Ts.Sharavdorj mentioned that Mongolia and India have ancient and historical ties and that the Speaker of the Lower House of India's parliament (Lok Sabha) Mrs. Meira Kumar visited Mongolia this year. He added that Parliament Speaker of Mongolia has been invited by Mrs. Kumar to visit the Republic of India.
"We thank India for giving opportunities to many Mongolian students to study in its schools," Sharavdorj said and expressed a gratitude to Ravi Shankar for helping thousands of Mongolians to become healthier through meditation.
Known as "the great intellectual master", Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is visiting Mongolia for the third time. The "Art of Living" organization, led by him, has branches in 156 countries. In mid of 1990s, Ts.Sarantsetseg was the first to give lesson of the "Art of living" in Mongolia. As of today, the Sri Sri centers have been erected nationwide with 100 teachers.
