REINHARD MITSCHEK: AZERBAIJAN PLAYS VERY IMPORTANT ROLE IN DIVERSIFICATION OF ENERGY RESOURCES
Baku, September 17 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan plays very important role in diversification of energy resources, said managing director of the Nabucco Gas Pipeline International GmbH Reinhard Mitschek who was interviewed by AzerTAc`s correspondent during the international conference “Gas infrastructure World Caspian 2010”.
He added: “Azerbaijan has tradition in oil industry, the oldest tradition in the world for oil production. Azerbaijan has in future a long potential for gas exports.”
“The gas quantity from Shahdeniz 2nd, plus the potential which is given in Azerbaijan beyond the Shahdeniz 2nd can fill Nabucco only stand alone with Azerbaijan`s gas.”
