Yemen to report MDGs implementation level in New York

SANA'A, Sep. 16 (Saba) - Yemen
is to present a report on the implementation of the Millennium Development Goals
(MDGs)
in the Millennium Development Goals UN Summit to be held in New York on September 20
- 22.
The weekly 26 September cited well-informed sources as saying that the report would
presented by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul-Karim
al-Arhabi
and would deal with Yemen's achievements and difficulties in this regard and the
significant role of the international community to complete carrying out the MDGs.
The meeting will discuss the achieved steps to realize the MDGs, topped by slashing
poverty, hunger, disease, maternal and child deaths and other ills by a 2015
deadline.
About 139 Presidents and Prime Ministers will attend the summit meeting.
