Kim Hwang-sik pegged for SKorea premiership

SEOUL, September 16 (Itar-Tass) - Kim Hwang-sik, head of the State
Audit and Inspections Agency, has been pegged for the vacant position of
Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea (RK). His candidacy has been
approved by President Lee Myung-bak, an official at the administration of
the Head of State said Thursday. The presidential administration is to
officially announce the appointment soon.
For a new head of the Cabinet of Ministers to assume office, it is
necessary that legislators at the unicameral National Assembly of the RK
confirm the nomination.
