VLADIVOSTOK, September 15 (Itar-Tass) - The first phase of an Ussuri
heating and power plant will come into operation in December 2012. The
designing of the plant has been already started by the

The development of the Ussuri plant project is to be completed in
December this year. The rated capacity of the new power plant near the
city of Ussuriisk will be 360 megawatts while its thermal capacity will be
520 gigacalories an hour. The new plant will be fired by coal.
The coming of the first phase of the plant into operation will bring
about the possibility to organize a centralized heat supply in several
districts of Ussuriisk, which will make it possible to close down more
