SOCIAL MINISTER VISITS FLOOD VICTIMS IN BOLAANG MONGONDOW
Manado, N Sulawesi, July 29 (ANTARA)- Social Affairs Minister Bachtiar Chamsyah visited flood and landslide victims in Inobonto village, Bolaang Mongondow (Bolmong) district, North Sulawesi province Monday.
The minister on the occasion extended ten tons of rice and 1,400 packs of instant noodle to the victims.
In addition, minister Bachtiar also handed over building materials worth Rp15 million for each of the houses damaged by the flood.
Some two-meter high floodwaters inundated 27 houses, and 200 others heavily damaged, and thousands others suffered minor damage.
