GORNO-ALTAYSK, September 15 (Itar-Tass) - Russian and Mongolian
servicemen successfully fulfilled the assigned mission during the two-week
military exercise Darhan 3, press secretary of the Siberian district
commander, Valery Shcheblanin told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.
Moreover, equipment maintenance groups fulfilled practical tasks of
repairing over 30 pieces of military hardware, mainly Mongolia's ones, he
said.
At present, Mongolia's troops load railway cars with military hardware
and prepare to march to their permanent posts on the territory of their
country, Shcheblanin said.
Over 1,000 servicemen and 200 pieces of military hardware were engaged
in the Russian-Mongolian Darhan 3 exercise at a training ground of the
Russian Siberian military district from September 1-15.
Mongolian Defence Minister Luvsanvandan Bold and Commander-in-Chief of
the Russian Land Forces, Colonel-General Alexander Postnikov said the
drills were completed and showed good results.
