Iran VP off to Istanbul
Tehran, Sept 15, IRNA – First Vice-President Mohammad-Reza Rahimi, heading a high-ranking delegation, departed here on Wednesday for Istanbul, Turkey, for a two-day visit.
Rahimi is planned to hold meetings with Prime Minister of Turkey Tayyip Erdogan and Turkish President Abdullah Gul. The meetings would focus on the issues of mutual interest.
Iran’s Minister of Industries and Mines Ali-Akbar Mehrabian, Minister of Commerce Mehdi Ghazanfari, Minister of Culture and the Islamic Guidance Mohammad Hosseini as well as a number of top Iranian officials are accompanying Rahimi./end
