President Ahmadinejad appoints advisors in six areas

Tehran, Sept 15, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has appointed in separate decrees six advisors for the Middle East, Latin America, Africa, the Caspian Sea, Asia and Afghanistan regions, it was reported here on Wednesday.

According to the Presidential Press and Information Center, Esfandiar Rahim Mashaee was appointed as President Ahmadinejad's Avisor for the Middle East Afairs while Shomsoddin Hosseini would assist the President in the African affairs.

Hamid Baqaee and Mohammad Abbasi were respectively appointed as the President's Advisors for the Asian and Latin American Affairs.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Mehdi Akhoundadeh and Abolfazl Zohrevand were appointed to serve as the President's Advisors for the Caspian Sea and Afghan Affairs, respectively.

The President expressed hope that the six advisors would help him further serve the national and international interests of the Islamic Iran./end
