Iran-Africa gathering, unique - African Official

Tehran, Sept 15, IRNA – Minister of Rural Development of Mauritania Brahim Ould Mbarek said here on Wednesday that Tehran’s decision to hold the first Iran-Africa panel discussion is a sui generis event.
Talking to IRNA on the sidelines of that gathering, Mbarek said he is optimistic about the future relations between Iran and Africa.
Referring to Iran-Africa meeting in Tehran, the minister said such events would help develop cooperation between the two sides.
The two-day first Iran-Africa panel discussion was held in Tehran on September 14 in which a number of top Iranian officials and the heads of states from 40 African countries took part./end
