Malawian president: Malawi keen to use Iran’s agricultural knowledge

Tehran, Sept 15, IRNA – Malawian President Bingu wa Mutharika said here on Tuesday that considering Iran’s considerable knowledge in agricultural industry, his country is keen to use Iranian know-how and experience in the fields of agriculture and animal husbandry.

On the sideline of his visit to Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute, the president said there are many research centers in Iran that we like to visit.

Referring to his visit to the section of venomous snakes in the institute, President Mutharika said poisonous snakes and scorpions are a real threat in Malawi for people, so we intend to use Iran experiences in production of antitoxin to defend our nation.

Considering his country’s economic dependence on agriculture, the president expressed desire to use Iran’s knowledge in this issue./end
