Govt reviews draft republican decree on regulating AFZ
SANA'A, Sep.14 (Saba) - The
Council of Ministers reviewed on Tuesday a draft republican decree on regulating
Aden Free
Zone (AFZ).
The draft, submitted by Ministers of Civil Service and Social Security and Legal
Affairs, comes under the Council's decree No.01 for 2010 on approval of the
abolition of
the General Authority for Free Zones and transferring its obligations to the AFZ.
The AFZ aims, under this draft, to contribute effectively in boosting the national
economy potentials by attracting economic activities and investments in accordance
with
the law and the general plan of the State.
The Council directed to study the draft decree by all ministers and to submit their
comments thereon within two weeks for final discussion and taking necessary
actions.
