APARTMENT AND CAR FOR THE CHAMPION


Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ World champion S.Battsetseg arrived Tuesday in Ulaanbaatar after successfully having taken part in the FILA Wrestling World Championships held September 6-12 in Moscow, Russia.
The same day, the "fresh" campion and her coach Z.Duvchin were received by Ch.Naranbaatar, a head of the State Department of Physical Culture and Sports, B.Bold and D.Bat-Erdene, vice-president and secretary-general of Mongolia's Free-Style Wrestling Federation (MFSWF). The officials congratulated them for the brilliant success and called a news conference.
Ch.Naranbaatar underlined that from beginning of this year Mongolia had four world champions, and that S.Battestseg "has won a world championships gold medal for free-style wrestling after 35 years' interval". He added that Battsetseg has become the very first Mongolian female world champion in free-style wrestling.
S.Battsetseg expressed her satisfaction with winning the gold medal and thanked all those who supported her in gaining such a high title.
The Authority of Frontier Service has given S.Battsetseg a key to a two-room apartment, then a local council of Arkhangai aimag's Khashaat soum presented her a car.
A wrestler of the "Khilchin" sports club S.Battsetseg won a gold medal in the Youth Asian Championships in 2009 and a silver medal in the Asian Championships in 2010.
