COOPERATION MEMORANDUM SIGNED FOR REDUCING POLLUTION

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia and the Environment Corporation of the Republic of Korea have signed a memorandum on cooperation in recycling resources, hazardous pollution management, climate change issies, air management, water quality, management of sewage and controlling soil and surface waters pollution.
Apart of this, these instituitions has run a seminar on the cooperation in environment involving their and the "Rokmon" civil society organization's representation. At this action the sides have shared views on a present situation of the environmental sector and further steps to be made in frames of the collaboration.
The Mongolian Ministry requested the S.Korean side to work together in producing energy from organic polluters and in introducing the latest hi tech and air pollution reducing know-how.
