Real Christian does not insult Quran: Vatican envoy
Tehran, Sept 14, IRNA – Vatican Ambassador to Tehran Archbishop Jean-Paul Gobel said here on Tuesday that a real Christian does not insult the Holy Quran.
Addressing representatives of several students associations, he expressed his concern over the news of sacrilege to the Holy Quran.
He reiterated that desecration of sanctities is by no means acceptable.
Freedom of expression does not mean that we have right to insult other religions, he said, underlining the need for establishment of mutual respect between Muslims and Christians./end
